StillMetrics for Meta Ads in Looker Studio
Bring data from Meta Ads into Looker Studio with the StillMetrics Community Connector. Build reports on advertising spend, impressions, reach, frequency, conversions and campaign performance where those fields are available for your authorized ad account and selected dates.
Review status. The Meta Ads connector is available for general use today. Google has not yet reviewed or verified this connector, and it is not listed in the public Looker Studio Connector Gallery until that review completes. Which fields and figures appear depends on your ad account permissions, the selected date range and successful synchronization.
What you need
- A StillMetrics account and workspace.
- A connected Meta Ads ad account that you are authorized to access.
- A workspace reporting API key generated inside StillMetrics.
- Access to Google Looker Studio.
Paid subscriptions are available through Paddle after signing in. See our pricing page for current plans; plan-specific limits are not currently enforced. Additional data sources are planned; this guide describes Meta Ads only, not direct Looker Studio support for Salla or other platforms.
Connect Meta Ads to Looker Studio
- Sign up or sign in. Open StillMetrics sign-in and select or create your workspace.
- Connect Meta Ads inside StillMetrics. Open Integrations, choose Meta Ads and complete the connection for an ad account you are authorized to access. Check the connection status and last successful sync before reporting.
- Choose Meta Ads on the Looker Studio destination page. After signing in, open Looker Studio setup and explicitly select your connected Meta Ads source.
- Generate and copy your workspace reporting API key. Use the API credentials link on that page to open Advanced / Developer Setup and the existing key section. New keys are shown once; keep yours private. Do not paste a key on this public page or send it to support.
- Open and authorize the connector. Click “Open Meta Ads in Looker Studio” inside StillMetrics. In the connector authorization form, paste your workspace reporting API key, then select your ad account and dates to configure the data source and create your report.
Authorization is manual and uses the workspace reporting API key. Google sign-in for Looker Studio or your StillMetrics account is separate; Google OAuth does not authorize this StillMetrics connector today.
Data access and safe key handling
StillMetrics accesses Meta Ads through the connection you authorize. Reports depend on the data available for that account, its permissions, the selected date range and successful synchronization. Recent results may be incomplete or change as Meta updates attribution. Reach and frequency depend on the exact reporting period and level; do not sum daily reach across dates or combine audiences across campaigns.
The connector reads reporting data for the workspace associated with your key. Treat the key as a secret: anyone with it may be able to access workspace reports. Enter it only in the connector authorization form, never in a shared report, URL, screenshot or support email. If exposed, revoke it in StillMetrics and generate a replacement, then authorize the connector again.
Questions and troubleshooting
Why is the Meta Ads button unavailable?
Confirm that Meta Ads is connected in the current workspace and selected on the Looker Studio destination page. Selecting another source does not enable this Meta connector.
Why does authorization fail?
Check that the reporting key belongs to the intended workspace and has not been revoked. Reauthorize with a valid key. Do not share the key when requesting help.
Why are reports empty or some metrics unavailable?
Check the selected ad account, dates, connection status and last successful sync in StillMetrics. A missing metric does not necessarily mean zero activity; some fields or exact aggregations may be unavailable for your account. If a report stays empty after these checks, contact support rather than reconnecting repeatedly.
Where can I get help?
Visit StillMetrics Support or email our temporary contact, ziadelamary@gmail.com. Include your workspace name, affected dates and the error message, but no passwords, API keys or access tokens. Read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for data handling and service terms.
